New-look Jr. Adanacs jump to 2-0

New ownership, new management and a new head coach have resulted in nothing new, at least so far, for the Coquitlam Jr. Adanacs.

And that’s a good thing.

The three-time defending provincial-champion Jr. A’s blasted the Delta Islanders 11-4 in their B.C. Junior ‘A’ lacrosse league regular-season home opener Wednesday at the Poirier Sports Complex, after thumping the Jr. Timbermen by the identical count Saturday in Nanaimo.

Ah, the battle of Alberta. Whether it's the Oilers and the Flames, the Eskimos and the Stampeders or the Rush and the Roughnecks, whenever a team from Edmonton faces a team from Calgary, there will be fireworks. The 2012 edition of the NLL's first round sees a number of rivals meeting each other. While that is great for viewership it also means that someone won't be moving on. Will the Edmonton Rush be around after the first round?
