The return of forward Blaine Manning and the continuing heroics of goaltender Nick Rose have the Toronto Rock sitting pretty.
Manning, who had been itching to get back into action after missing 10 games rehabbing from a broken collarbone, set picks with his usual veteran aplomb and scored a goal in a 12-8 victory over the Edmonton Rush on Saturday night that made him the 10th player in National Lacrosse League history with 800 points.
