Make it six in a row for the top team in the National Lacrosse League. The Calgary Roughnecks hosted the Rochester Knighthawks on Friday evening in a game that could have implications on who would host NLL playoff matchups. Shortly after the Minnesota Swarm knocked off the Philadelphia Wings 13-9, the Roughnecks faced off in a game that, should they win, could hand them home floor advantage throughout the playoffs. The Roughnecks came into the game riding a six game winning streak led by a balanced attack. So balanced, in fact, that Calgary had at least three players with a hat trick in their previous three games.
