KidSport Tri-Cities hosts a hockey equipment and skate sale at the Port Coquitlam rec centre Saturday, September 19th from 2 to 5 p.m., with most items in the $5 to $15 price range. Got stuff to donate? Drop them off at the rec complex to help raise money for KidSport; funds help cover sports fees for low income families. Also at the rec centre, starting at 10 a.m. is a SeniorsPass Fair in the Wilson Centre lounge, where seniors can try various mobility devices and get a hearing test, diabetes screening and blood pressure check. At 3:15 p.m., check out the free Elks Skate. Drop-in learn-to-skate lessons run 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Bryan Evans and Gesele Lajoie show off items up for grabs at a recent KidSport fundraiser. This weekend's KidSport sale, at the Port Coquitlam recreation complex from 2 to 5 p.m., will feature hockey and skating equipment. Funds raised help low income families cover sports fees.
