Revenge On Salmonbellies' Minds
The Brampton Excelsiors up-ended the Peterborough Lakers 9-8 Wednesday night to claim the Ontario Lacrosse Association crown in six games and advance to face the Salmonbellies for the Mann, the national senior men's lacrosse championship.
Owen Sound Defeats Tri City Bandits to Take Presidents Cup
Winning one Presidents' Cup was tough for the Owen Sound VanDolder's Home Team Woodsmen.
Winning two Canadian Lacrosse Association Senior B lacrosse championships was a piece of cake.
"The first time we hoped we knew what we needed to do to win, but this time we knew exactly what we needed to do to win and we did it," Woodies' general manager Mark Berner said Saturday shortly after his squad dumped B. C's TriCity Bandits 11-5 in the Presidents' Cup final.

The Western Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce that Tim Campeau of the Coquitlam Adanacs has been selected as the 2009 winner of the Fred Wooster Memorial Award as the WLA Unsung Hero. Tim scored 19 goals an assisted on 11 others for 30 points. He was an inspirational player collecting many loose balls as well as flashing excellent speed.

Adam Jones and Jesse Gamble each scored twice as the Northmen defeated the Brampton Excelsiors 8-4 in Sunday's deciding game of their best-of-three Canadian junior lacrosse championship for their second straight title and fifth overall.

Orangeville Rallies For 10-9 Win Over Brampton In Game 1 Of Minto Cup Final
After what happened Friday night, the Orangeville Northmen are bound and determined to end the Minto Cup final Saturday night.
Matt McLeod scored four goals as the defending Canadian junior lacrosse champions rallied after falling behind 3-0 to defeat the Brampton Excelsiors 10-9 in Game 1 of the best-of-three series.
