Adanacs Get Roughed Up In Playoff Rehearsal
The Coquitlam senior 'A' Adanacs ended the regular season Wednesday with a 22-10 loss to Victoria -- a dress rehearsal for the first round of the Western Lacrosse Association playoffs.
Coming on the heels of Tuesday's 11-6 win over Langley, the Adanacs fell behind 8-2 after 20 minutes and struggled on.

Second-Period Outburst Gives Adanacs WLA Win
Coquitlam Adanacs exploded for six straight second-period goals on way to an 11-6 victory Tuesday over the Langley Thunder at the Sports Centre.
The Western Lacrosse Association win pulled the A's to within a point of third-place Langley in the seven-team loop, although the Thunder can clinch the spot with a victory tonight over the visiting Nanaimo Timbermen.

Leaks in the roof of Coquitlam Sports Centre forced the postponement of Saturday's Western Lacrosse Association game between the host Adanacs and the Langley Thunder.
No Bailing On Boxla Rainout
There was no shelter from the storm Saturday for either the Coquitlam Adanacs or Langley Thunder.
The two senior 'A' lacrosse teams saw their regular season game washed out when leaks from the Coquitlam Sports Centre roof caused unplayable conditions on the concrete floor. That means the two teams play tonight (Tuesday, 7:45 p.m. at the sports centre) before a tiny crowd.
