Scoring 11 goals is often enough to win a lacrosse game. Allowing 18, however, rarely warrants a victory.
Coquitlam Adanacs surrendered six goals in each of the three periods and were blitzed 18-11 Saturday by the Victoria Shamrocks at the Sports Centre. The result boosted the first-place ’Rocks to a 9-1-0 in the Western Lacrosse Association, while the A’s had their seven-game win streak stopped and dipped to 7-3-0 in third spot.
